Virtual Private Network (VPN)

A Virtual Private Network (VPN) is an overlay network that provides a secure and private connection over the internet. It encrypts the traffic and routes it differently than your regular internet connection, allowing you to access services that are restricted to the VPN network.

I use a VPN to provide secure access to apps and services that only trusted users should be able to access.

Installing the VPN

You need to first install the VPN software on your devices, and then configure my VPN server.

My VPN server is https://hs.maximus.zone. So for example on Windows, you would do this in a command prompt:

tailscale login --login-server https://hs.maximus.zone
